Nicky Kumar is a local Prince George artist who specializes in creating mandalas.  She discovered how mandalas have a unique ability to instill tranquility in both the creator and those viewing the piece.  Nicky has designed hundreds of mandalas in all shapes and forms and will be sharing her approach to this amazing art form this Thursday!

Relax and enjoy the calming experience of Mandala Art with Nicky Kumar. Design a beautiful art piece that is certain to manifest tranquility for you and all who view it.

Please bring:
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • White drawing paper or smooth Bristol Paper
  • Fine tip drawing pen, eg. 08 Micron pigma, marvy pen or equivalent
  • compass
  • clear ruler

Due to allergies we request that attendees do not wear perfume or cologne to the workshop. Thanks for helping keep this a safe place to play for all.

Non-member drop-in fee is $10.

What is a mandala? We just had our retreat in our university and they made us create one. They say that mandala represents the lessons that we learned. I can see that Nicky Kumar has the skill. I wish I could be like her.

Mandala is ritual symbol in Hinduism. It has a very unique style of paint.
