Class Info:

We will delve briefly into the history of pointillism and then work from a photo reference to develop your own version of pointillism in black and white.  Once into the swing of dot-making, you'll find it relaxing and absorbing.

Please bring:
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • White drawing paper
  • 05 Micron pigma pen or equivalent
  • Black and white photo of a simple still life, flower or human head shot.  The photo should have some nice strong value changes.

Due to allergies we request that attendees do not wear perfume or cologne to the workshop. Thanks for helping keep this a safe place to play for all.

Non-member drop-in fee is $10.

Please RVSP Sharron MacBride at macbride.sharron@gmail.com OR use the below form if you are planning to attend so we can configure the room accordingly.

I was never aware of the term pointillism. I'm glad that I decided to read on this blog. I get to learn new words each time I visit your site. I'm excited to try out Pointillism when making art. I'll be sure to read more of your words and creative ideas.
