In this vast and expanding visual journaling practice, where does one start? And besides, what the heck is art journaling?

Art journaling is about the creative process of pulling together color, words and images as you wish on a page. Unlike many other forms of art, it is not about the outcome." ~ Tammy Garcia

Whether you are just discovering (or rediscovering) your creative spirit, or you’ve been creating for years, art journaling can be an amazing tool for self-discovery and to cultivate your creativity.

Although there are no rules in art journaling, a great place to start is to create layers, a foundation, on a two-page art journaling spread. Come and join us in this fun class, where Sandee and Cheri will teach this beginner course, “Seven Scrumptious Layers to Creating a Visual Journal Page, Plus a Cherry On Top.”

This class will take the “fear” out of starting an art journal page. In this class, you will learn a step by step process, as easy as 1 2 3…. Or rather, I should say, 7 layers on one art journal page. Yes, seven. You will learn 7 visual journaling techniques. If that weren’t enough, you can also look forward to learning a bonus technique, that is the cherry on top. All’s we will need is the whip cream.

That is where you come in. Sandee and Cheri are excited to share their secrets with you, in this entertaining, interactive, full of surprises visual journaling class.
